They are food safe, with a glossy coating on the inside so your treat won’t soak through the box:

Your cookie will probably look better than mine, but it was the LAST cookie in my house. I would have taken another picture, but I was hungry, so I ate it. Don’t judge.

With this little all-in-one-gift, the card is on top of the box, like this:

It’s super simple to make, too!

Rockin’ Around the Tree

When I’m not playing with paper, I’m making music with 12 incredible young (and young-at-heart) people who inspire me to be a better teacher. This opportunity has molded me into a better pianist myself, but I often want to go back and HUG all my piano teachers for all they endured with me~ I can say with conviction, “THANKS, MOM, for not letting me quit (when it probably would have been easier to let me…)”

That aside, last night we held our Christmas Concert at a local Beehive Home (so it doubled as a service project, too!) and these budding pianists TOTALLY rocked the house:

It’s a privilege for me to help students learn to play the piano and love music. I wanted to create a gift for them that was unique and sentimental to this performance, so I pulled out my papercrafting supplies and used the “Musical Season” stamp set for the purpose I intended: Ornaments!Watermarked1(2017-12-16-1342)

One of the students (Madi) even played “Little Drummer Boy” so it was a perfect gift!

As cute as the front is, the back really carries the message I want them to remember:

And it’s just as cute in white!

What could be better? Oh yes…that it also falls under the #tgifc138 Christmas Carol-Inspired Challenge! tgif2bchallenge2bbuttons2b2017-044

This Musical Season bundle is one of the most overlooked treasures in the Holiday Catalog, but will retire at the end of the year (or when supplies are depleted) so make sure to order yours from my store:

This Alphabet Makes Me Look Good

My daughter is planning ahead for Christmas Gifts and asked me to help her create a custom album cover using the Stampin’ Up! Memories and More product line. I’ve trained her well to be a Disn-Neyrd, and her husband was already an addict. They will meet any of their family at the Magic Kingdom (anywhere on the globe!) so she wanted to fill an album with pictures of her nieces and nephews at the Happiest Place on Earth, and this is what we came up with: Watermarked1(2017-08-07-0724).jpg

The thing I love the best about this project? The Hand-Lettered Alphabet!

My hand-writing is ATROCIOUS and this A.MAZ.ING. stamp set makes me look good! Check it out:

It’s like you can’t go wrong when you are stamping with these letters. Use a dark ink and they all blend together, like you are a PRO-Calligrapher! They are guaranteed to become your new favorite tool for scrapbooking and beyond.

Thanks a Bunch Daisy Teacup

For my Hostess Appreciation Breakfast, I wanted to make my host friends a special gift, and this idea came to me in a dream (have you ever dreamed or crafting?!?):

IMG_4475

I picked up the glass cups at the thrift store and spray painted the inside of them and filled them with florist foam and “reindeer moss” (found at the dollar store!)IMG_4476

Once the cups were painted and filled, my daughter-in-law helped me punch daisies (love this new punch!) and cut leaves (from the Rose Garden Thinlit Dies) and we pinned them into the foam, creating a tiny bunch of happy flowers! IMG_4477

Finally I added a little tag to the handle of the teacup: The Wood Crate Framelits has the PERFECT size tag and the words are from the coordinating Wood Words stamp set: Get them HERE.

They are sure to brighten the day of a friend who has done something kind for you!
