Oh, so Witty! A Virtual Card Class

savingPNG

We could benefit from a little laughter amidst the chaos of life, so I’m trying something NEW to keep you stamping and giggling: A Virtual Card Class! There is no better stamp set to feature in this class than the “Witty-Cisms” set that will tickle your funny-bone with it’s clever images and greetings. It’s one of the most popular in the Mini Catalog!

Here’s how it works:

The Virtual Class includes the Witty-Cisms stamp set and the Everyday Label Punch ~OR~ 4 Stampin’ Blends Markers (Light Daffodil Delight, Light Call Me Clover, Highland Heather Combo pack) as well as instructions and the supplies to create 6 cards (2 each of 3 different designs). You will need both the punch and Stampin’ Blends to complete your cards as well as a Memento Black ink pad and a Lovely Lipstick (or Real Red) ink pad, adhesive and Stampin’ Dimensionals. You may add those items to your order, if needed. The tutorial will be emailed to you once your payment is received. Your basic kit will be delivered from Stampin’ Up! and the supplies will be mailed to you from me.

If you already have the Everyday Label Punch and Stampin’ Blends, you can substitute another product of equal value.

SIGN-UP for the Witty-Cisms Virtual Class here by April 30th!

Looking forward to sharing a little laughter and crafty love with you,

Loni

Be a Gold-Dipper!

I’m sorry to say that Sale-a-Bration 2020 is almost over, but the crafting will continue because we are all still stuck at home (thanks, Covid-19): Are you prepared to keep making pretty things? If not, you have a few more hours to earn Sale-A-Bration rewards by shopping in my Stampin’ Up! store! It all ends March 31st at midnight, Mountain Time.

To end with a fun technique, I’m playing along with TGIF Challenges and their “Gold Dipped” #tgifc257 challenge:

I chose to demonstrate this card LIVE on my Creative Juice Facebook Page today, so you can watch the replay by clicking the link. Hint: There is a giveaway, too!

The Butterfly Punch is a newly added option for Sale-A-Bration and I paired it with the Power of Hope bundle (another S-A-B option you could choose free): IMG_5053-(W)

It’s kind of hard to see, but the gold embossing powder is really shiny!IMG_5056-(W)

I’ve been mailing a card (or two or ten) each day during the quarantine and I think the sentiment inside is perfect for keeping us going:

Play along with this challenge- or any other- to keep your sanity! Crafting (and sending something you’ve created to someone else) will get you through this lonely time.

Pot of Tulips to Help You Heal

How I love a punch that coordinates with a stamp set! And tulips! And teaching you a fun fold card! It all comes together with my pot of tulips to brighten the day of someone who is recovering from a health challenge:

The flowers pull out so you can write a message below, and still fits inside an envelope:tuliploni

Tip: As you are adding the tulips to the top of your white card stock, lay it on top of an envelope so you adhere the flowers within the dimensions of the sides of the envelope.

When placing an order in my Stampin’ Store, please don’t select “no contact”: I want to send you a hand-stamped thank you card and can only do that if I can see who ordered!

Will you try making this card? Let me know in the comments!

Reach Out From Home

Just because we are quarantined doesn’t mean we are alone: It’s a blessing that we can talk on the phone or via video and MAIL a card! I challenge you to make and mail a card each day you are stuck at home thanks to Corona Virus!

I chose to combine my card today with a challenge: Why not expand your creativity at the same time you are doing a service?

Cute sketch from TGIF Challenges, eh? The Peaceful Poppy Suite is the one I chose again because I wanted a card to match the frame I made here…it will be a birthday card and gift for my friend Carolyn!

It’s going to be perfect and I’m off to package it so it can make it’s way to Canada! IMG_4878-(W)

What’s New at SU! Sale-a-Bration Showcase

Whats new (2)

We are celebrating the final fling of Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-Bration (ends March 31st) so our international group of demonstrator friends are squeezing the most of it for you today! You’ll find many projects to inspire you to get (at least) one more FREE S-A-B product (while they last).

I’m using three co-ordinating Sale-a-Bration products today: The Lovely Lily Pad stamp set, the Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper and the Lily Pad Dies to create an illuminating gift for a friend:

IMG_4784-(W)

This little bag contains a tea-light holder and will express how much you appreciate someone who has shined a light in your life! I found the perfect sentiment in the Strong & Beautiful stamp set, though I forgot to add it to my supply list…

The measurements for the DSP inside the bag are 2-5/8″ x 12″ and scored at 3/4″, 3–5/8″ and 10-5/8″. I also made a small box for the bottom of the bag (sits inside the DSP to hold the candle) from card stock: 4″ square, scored at 3/4″ on each side. It takes a bit of patience to work the DSP + box into the bottom of the bag, but it works!

Now you’re off to see more pretty Sale-a-Bration projects…next up is Heather (or bounce back to Diane’s blog) and a full list of participants is found at the end of this post!

The Gang’s All Meer for Sale-a-Bration

sabheader.jpg

Sale-a-Bration 2020 is is FULL SWING and today I’m sharing a few projects made with the coolest Kats: The Gang’s All Meer stamp set was the first stamp set I chose for free with my initial S-A-B order! meer.jpg

Yesterday I demonstrated this card on my Lunchtime Crafting Live that happens each Monday on my Creative Juice Facebook Page:

IMG_4678-(W)

Isn’t that adorable? And it’s super simple to make.

I though it would also be fun to make a gift pouch from the Stampin’ Up! Pillow Boxes with these cute kats:

IMG_4069-(W)

It’s the right size for a gift card and candy bar, or jewelry and other small gifts!

Download the Stand Up Friend Birthday Pouch tutorial here

What’s New at SU! Birthday Dies

Whats new (2)

Paper crafters love nothing more than Co-ordination: We swoon for ribbon in Stampin’ Up! colors, we sigh over designer series papers that match our punches and we are head-over-heels when we have dies for stamped images so we don’t have to cut them out!

It’s February and our group of demonstrator friends from around the world are showcasing the NEW SU! Product Coordination release items and we are hoppin’ with excitement to share these projects with you!

The Birthday Dies were designed to coordinate with the Happy Birthday to You Sale-a-Bration Stamp set (which you could choose free with a $50 order before March 31, 2020). Notice the leaf dies: There are TWO leaves on ONE die! This is a great improvement, as tiny dies are too fiddly for me and having two of them together makes them much easier to use!

IMG_4637-(W)My project is a remake of one of my favorite gift packaging because our Acetate Card boxes are perfect for holding a mug cake mix. It’s sort of a “bake-your-own-birthday-cake” gift!

IMG_4640-(W)It’s a pretty, frilly & feminine project, and even though I did end up fussy cutting the sentiment, the dies helped the rest of it come together quickly.

IMG_4639-(W)These are products you will NOT want to wait to order because they are only available while supplies last and since they match some of our most popular items from the current Mini Catalog and Sale-a-Bration 2020, they are sure to fly off the shelves.

The supplies I used are listed below, and I’d love to hear what you think of this birthday box so before you hop along to the Anke’s blog next (or back to Diane’s project),  leave a comment then keep hoppin’ for more product coordination inspiration!
