Paper Crafters give quilters (with their stash of fabric) a run for their money with our collection of pretty patterned paper. We love it even more when it’s on sale! Now through August 2nd you can get a 15% discount on select Designer Series Paper from the 2021–2022 Annual Catalog.
When I need inspiration on color combinations, I like to take a cue from the colors used on Designer Series Paper. It’s also the perfect starting point, or finishing touch, when you want to create quick and simple cards, need that extra detail on an over-the-top card, or the special accent for your memory keeping.
Sale ends August 2nd, but order early to avoid backorders on these popular styles.
Happy to have you here as our international blog hop team of demonstrators is showing you how delightful the products from the Stampin’ Up! January-June Mini Catalog are to craft with!
If your children (or grandchildren) have contributed to the BILLIONS of times “Baby Shark” has been viewed or listened to, you know the frenzy that surrounds this phenomenom
When my niece was born, a school teacher asked her older brother what they had names is new baby sister. He was struggling to pronounce “Charlotte” so he told the teacher his baby sister was “Sharky”. Naturally, she needed a SHARK FRENZY card to celebrate her recent age advancement (birthday)!
I noticed that the “Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo” could also be sung as “Happy Birthday to You” I borrowed the “Happy Birthday” sentiment from the Hey Birthday Chick stamp set (the “to you” came from a past Paper Pumpkin set…they come in handy at times like these!) for the inside of this double-easel card.
To make a double easel card, make card base 11″ x 4-1/4″, scored at 5-1/2″ and a second piece of card stock 4-1/4″ x 5″ scored at 1″ and 3″ along the longer edge. Adhere the 1″ flap of the smaller piece to the bottom front edge of the card (with the score along the bottom edge) to create a double easel card base, then add layers of Designer Series Paper, embossed backgrounds or stamped images to embellish your card.
Combined with the Whale of a Time Designer Series Paper, you’ll SEA a lot of crossover versatility with the Shark Frenzy bundle!
Your demonstrator can help you order the supplies needed for a Sharky card, or if you don’t have a demonstrator, I’ve shared the supplies I used below (U.S. customers) Now bounce on over to Suzanne’s website for another darling animal to craft with: Kangaroo & Company!
You aren’t imagining things: Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-Bration is a little shorter this year…but don’t worry: There will be 2nd Sale-a-Bration in July and August, with all NEW (limited time) products to earn! That means you only have 3 days left to snag the wonderful freebies from the current event, because it ends February 28th. I’ll share a few of the SAB products I’ve been crafting with:
Darling Donkeys has been neck-and-neck with Berry Blessings for most popular Sale-a-Bration stamp set! Do you have this one yet? I layered him on an embossed piece of vellum for a fabulous birthday card.
When you find a card pattern that will work with all of your Designer Series Paper, make a big STACK of them! That’s what I did with the Flower & Field DSP and used this card for swapping at our recent StampFest events. It’s an inexpensive card, since the paper was free!
Finally, this was ONE of the cards I demonstrated in my Lunchtime Live Crafting on my FB page this past Monday showcasing The Touch of Ink stamp set and the Oh, So Ombre paper …with plain and patterned paper that will pair well with any stamp, it’s a great choice to expand your choices for projects with Bermuda Bay, Rococo Rose, Granny Apple Green or Blackberry Bliss (shown). Be sure to watch the video to see the other projects I demonstrated!
Now RUN (don’t walk) to get your order in before February 28th so you can choose a free Sale-a-Bration reward (like one of these) with each $50 you add to your cart before they are gone forever!

Welcome to our “Warm & Cozy” Blog Hop: The best way to view these projects from talented demonstrators around the world is wrapped in a blanket with a warm cup of cocoa!
Once you have hopped through all the blogs, you may either feel like crafting, OR having a nap. Either way, we’ve got you covered:
My project is a sign to hang from your door when a baby (or yourself) are sleeping! If you are a new mom, you should take this advice: “SLEEP WHEN YOUR BABY SLEEPS”. You need the rest, and during the winter, we need more sleep. Let this notice keep it quiet during that important time.
The photo-realistic textures of the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper felt cabin-cozy for my Naptime Door Sign and with the Playful Alphabet dies, you can say what you want to say! TIP:If you happen to drop a die in the garbage can while crafting, grab a magnet to fish it out (not saying that happened or anything…)
I made it the same size as a card (5.5″ x 4.25″) so you can mail it to a friend who just had a baby.
I’ve been really enjoying the new Water Painters for watercoloring…it’s so relaxing to color! Doesn’t the mother and baby fox from the Wildly Happy stamp set just make you want to curl up for a snooze?
All the supplies I used for this Warm & Cozy project are listed below and please leave me a comment before following the hop over to Terry’s blog to see what she’s cooking up with the Heartwarming Hugs bundle!
Warm Holiday Wishes~ We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin’ with Holiday Crafting ideas to share with you!
During GIFTING season, use your stampin’ supplies to package a pretty present:
Adding a card to the outside of a gift bag dresses it up and this one really rings with good cheer.
Did you know Stampin’ Up!’s “Tis the Season” Designer Series Paper (DSP) has patterns that match many of the stamps in our Holiday Catalog that don’t have their own coordinating papers? While the jingle bell paper is perfect for the Cherish The Season bundle, I paired it with the Banner Year bundle and it’s petite holly image.
To make the tab to hang the card from: you’ll need a piece of 2-1/2′ x 5-1/2″ Designer Series Paper and the Classic Label Punch: Push the paper all the way into the punch (with the edge of the punch lining up with the short edge of the paper) and punch all the way across until the other edge of the paper lining up with the other side of the punch. Adhere the *top* of the Designer Series Paper to the bag with Tear & Tape, leaving the punched side unattached so as to slide your card through.
NOTE: The card needs to open from the top hinge to be able to hang from the tab!
If you’ve been holding off on the big 24-sheet pack of In Good Taste Designer Series Paper, now is the time to get this on-trend essential into your hands! The wood, tile, and woven textures are gorgeous and perfect for any season. I especially like it for those hard-to-create masculine cards.
Tomorrow the 2020-2021 Stampin’ Up! catalog goes live and the thing I look forward to the MOST are the new colors. Let me introduce you:
BUMBLEBEE: This hue is a smidgeon more mustard-y than Crushed Curry and very on-trend in fashion and home decor currently!
CINNAMON CIDER: A warm tone that reminds me of the sandstone of my hometown of St. George, Utah, but more brown than red.
JUST JADE: If you are looking for the Emerald City, this is your color! Wouldn’t it be lovely on a monochromatic care using the other greens as well?
MAGENTA MADNESS: A vibrant pink that will give your projects a pick-me-up and pop of color!
MISTY MOONLIGHT: A dark denim color that will be a neutral you gravitate to for masculine cards.
You’ll be able to add all these to your cart beginning June 3rd, including ink pads & refills, card stock, Designer Series Paper, ribbon and accessories, along with the new Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set that I used for these cards.
The think I love MOST about the Early Release Ornate Garden Suite is the DESIGNER SERIES PAPER!
Some of the sheets of this paper (inspired by Victorian Foils) have gold foil designs on one side and they are so very frilly and feminine:
This card is a unique way to see BOTH sides of the paper by using the DSP as your card base. I’m sharing a tutorial and you can click on any of the project pictures to download it! It opens up accordion style like this:
If you struggle with die cutting detailed dies (like the ornate frames in this suite of paper crafting products) I shared a TIP on this Facebook Live Video that will make die cutting SO MUCH EASIER for fancy things like this!
Got a lot to say in your card? Add another layer of card stock in the first fold and you can write a longer message to the recipient: Product List
Do you have a combination of food that you crave? It’s caramel and chocolate for me! While they are both great on their own, they are even BETTER TOGETHER!
Just like food, crafting is sweeter when you have the perfect combinations. Stampin’ Up! has made favorites from the Mini Catalog and Sale-A-Bration reward items even better with new coordinating products, just released.
The popular Sale-A-Bration reward stamp set, Happy Birthday To You (#152308), and the Special Someone stamp set (#151643) from the Mini Catalog are awesome on their own, but paired with their coordinating dies or framelits, crafting sweet cards is faster and easier.
You’ll also be PLEASED AS PUNCH when you see the new Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper (#153558). It coordinates with 4 different punches!
The coordinating products are only available until March 31st or while supplies last. I’m predicting some will sell out, so don’t wait to get your new favorites!
