I haven’t put out many Halloween decorations this year since we are still getting settled in our new home, but this framed piece (created at Jill Olsen‘s stamp day in September) adorns the top of my piano today:

and embellished with some stamps, paper and ribbon, we call this a “hybrid” project: A combination of digital AND paper crafting! It makes me happy.

D.C. and Spider Cider

This is my excuse for missing a week on my blog: A trip to D.C. with my youngest daughter to visit my oldest daughter! We had a fabulous time together, obviously, and it’s taken me a little while to get back into the swing of things.

MDS Printing Prices Slashed! New Downloads, too!

And since yesterday was Tuesday, there are also NEW downloads for My Digital Studio…and did you notice that MDS isn’t just for scrapbooking? It can be used to create cards, calendars, home decor, tags, DVDs and even HALLOWEEN COSTUMES! How fun is that?

I think my favorite is the Year End Review Infographic…that’s UBER trendy!

The Haunted Village: A Special Club Project

This year, one of my stamp clubs requested home decor and giftable projects so we are kicking off the club next week with this cute little Haunted Village:

The idea came from a class at Stampin’ Up! convention 2011 and I transformed it into this spooky trio: Grab a few junk pieces of wood, some paint and ink, your favorite Designer Series Paper and create your own neighborhood for any holiday! I’d love to see what you create, so share a link in the comments if you try it.

Jenn (the club hostess for this month) said she could accommodate a few extra guests if you are in Spanish Fork next Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. The cost is $6 for the village if you place a $25 order and $12 if you just want to come to make the project. It will take about 2 hours. If you are interested, email or call me by Monday morning so we have the supplies ready.

Note: While I am sending out all the cards (and some of the other projects) I am sharing on my blog this Anniversary month, I won’t be giving this one away 🙂 Leave a comment anyway, and I’ll pick one person to get a copy of one of the other cards from the month!

A: $99. You get to choose $125 in supplies and $65 of business materials are also included. That’s a $190 value…for less than a hundred bucks!

Q: How many parties do I have to do?
A: None. There are no sales requirements to purchase the kit. You can buy the kit and decide how much you want to do, if any. However, I think if you TRY IT, YOU’LL LIKE IT! I’m here to help you make your business a success…YOUR WAY. To remain an active demonstrator, you should submit $300 in sales each quarter (and your own purchases count) and I’ll help you meet your own goals.

Q: Is there a discount on my purchases?
A: Demonstrators get a 20 percent discount on all Stampin’ Up! products, including stamp sets, paper, and accessories. It’s a great way to support your love of stamping, paper or digital crafting, home décor – or whatever your passion may be!

Q: How much money can I earn as a demonstrator?
A: You’ll earn extra income based on your sales and recruiting – just how much extra income is up to you.

So MOVING is over…but unpacking has just begun at my new house! We joke that we threw away half of our stuff as we packed, but I’m finding that I’m throwing away even MORE stuff as I unpack!! Though Stampin’ Up! convention was 3 weeks ago, I haven’t even unpacked my shopping bag from the Memento Mall yet 😦

I am a little late getting August started because of the move and there are a LOT of great stampin’ opportunities I wanted to share with you! Spooky: Rule of 3’s

THREE is such a magic number: Like Charlie’s Angels or the Three Musketeers. How about spaghetti, meatballs and garlic bread? Faith, Hope & Charity? Harry, Ron & Hermoine or (for you “Wicked” fans like me:) Glinda, Elphaba and Fyero…”witch” brings us to the point today, this classic card sketch (Fall-to Layout #113 from Clean & Simple Stamping):

When in doubt, you can’t go wrong with a simple trio of images like this!

Have I told you how much I love the new Spider Web embossing folder for the Big Shot? Besides using it on my card, I combined it with the Candy Wrapper Die to make the adorable gift below (can you see the little bat on the tag made with the bat punch? Too adorable!)

From Greeting Cards and Gifts to Home Decor, you will be inspired to create beautiful projects celebrating Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas, including a Holiday Planner to help keep you as organized as Santa, himself!
