Save the Last Stamp for Me

We have turned the corner into the last stretch of the Stampin’ Up! year and as we near the finish line, it’s time to announce the retirement of some of our beloved products.

There are a few facts to note:

  • We will not be offering Wood Mount stamp sets in the new catalog, so there may be a few stamps on the list that WILL be offered in our new (super sticky) CLING MOUNT offering in the next catalog. There may be a chance that if you order a wood mount set and it is sold out, it could be substituted with the Cling version (lucky you! You’d be the first!).
  • While there is not a die cutting tool in the 2019-2020 catalog, there WILL be new dies and embossing folders…please be patient as we improve your die cutting experience and stay tuned!
  • Due to difficulties with the manufacturer of our Stampin’ Trimmer, it has been discontinued from our current offering and Stampin’ Up! is working to create another excellent paper cutting option as soon as possible. You may order replacement cutting blades as long as they are available (limit 6 packages per order). They are currently refilling what they hope to be a 6 month supply.

ON TO THE FUN STUFF! I’m sharing a few of my favorite stamps and accessories on the retired lists today so you have the chance to add them to your collection before they are gone forever!

From the 2018-19 Annual Catalog, I’m really going to miss my Lemon Zest stamp set and coordinating Lemon Builder punch! I’m not sure who made this card I received in a card swap, but isn’t it so cheerful?! It’s been a favorite for getting my “creative juices” flowing.

I’m also sad to say goodbye to the Amazing Life Stamp Set from the Occasions Catalog: I’ve showcased it in a previous post, and have enjoyed the versatility it offers.

There is still time to get your retiring favorites AND if you are ready to start a fresh new year with Stampin’ Up!, ask me for a new 2019-2020 Catalog!

Simply Citrus

My Stampiversary is over, but the last thank you cards need to go into the mail. It seemed only natural to make some “creative juice” cards to encourage the customers who ordered from my Flash Sale to live with ZEST!

Using the words from a stamp set as your background can make a dramatic impact: For this card, I stamped once with my stamp loaded with Lemon-Lime twist ink, then stamped again without re-inking it and then ONE MORE TIME for the lightest impression.

Thanks to the Global Design Project for coordinating the color challenge to support my theme (not really…it was just good luck):

I added a little Daffodil Delight to the palette so I could include the lemon, and now I’m off to write my appreciation to my customers!

Live with Zest!

I’m a sucker when it comes to a stamp set and coordinating punch…but then Stampin’ Up! made the Lemon Zest stamp set with citrus fruit and this was a NO BRAINER for my Creative Juice!

Made this card LIVE on my Facebook Page yesterday morning: Did you know I have Live Lunchtime Crafting each Monday at 12:30 MST? Tune in as you eat your midday meal to get some extra Vitamin (C)reativity:

The fruit on this card is stamped on glossy paper (welcome back!) and uses Lemon Lime Twist (one of the 2017-2019 In-Colors), along with Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie:Watermarked(2017-06-19-1425)-2

The Lemon Zest stamp set comes in wood mount or clear mount and when you bundle it with the Lemon Builder punch, you save 10%:145360g

Finally, this little cutie (see what I did there?) was made even sweeter by adding a few Lemon Lime Twist tiles cut from the Stitched Shaped Framelits behind the orange slices, which are perfectly punched out using the 1-3/4″ circle punch! Of course, on the inside of this card is the “Live with Zest” sentiment:Watermarked(2017-06-19-1425)

Hope you’ve enjoyed this slice of citrus fruit crafting and thanks for shopping for your own “creative juice” in my Stampin’ Store!
