Card Swaps + Your Time to Shine!

Stampers LOVE to exchange handmade cards! We swap our creations at any Stampin’ Up! event and my Sprinkled Ink team (& friends) are hands-down the BEST group to swap with (I’ve participated in a TON of swaps in 31 years, and they are better than all of them).

Would you like to see their talents? I thought so!

This was our September-December Mini Catalog Swap… you may have seen some of these cards if you’ve attended an event with me in the past few months:

Aren’t they spectacular? There are fun folds, embossing, foil paper, background stamps, die cuts, rubber stamping, Designer Series Paper and techniques galore to share with our customers and be inspired by. I’m certainly going to make a version of Robin’s fun fold and order the embossing folder Michelle used!

This was the card I crafted for the swap using the Curved Occasions stamp set (click link below card for stampin’ supplies):

We swap cards each time a new catalog launches, which means our next swap will be in January. As demonstrators, we get to pre-order from the publication the month before…it’s a nice perk!

Speaking of perks, there are 7 days left to take advantage of the 35th Anniversary Starter Kit Special! This is your chance to get a divine discount on crafting supplies AND see if you want to SHINE as a demonstrator!

There are no strings attached to the purchase of a starter kit, and you’ll get 20% off your future purchases through April 2024 (or forever, if you decide to stay with the Sprinkled Inkers as a hobby or business demonstrator!).

In addition, you’ll get a free ticket to OnStage@Home (our virtual Stampin’ Up! convention) on November 11th…it will be an amazing peek at the goings-on in the life of a demonstrator, and will give you insight into the possibilities of a bright future.

Finally, you’ll have the opportunity to swap cards with our friendly demonstrator family, participate in events and creative challenges, learn and grow personally and creatively, plus gain a new tribe of very talented, kind and supportive people! Why not??

Stitched Stampers Card Swaps

Whenever a new catalog debuted, my demonstrator friends participate in a card swap. I’ve been a part of many swaps, and I think our group (the Stitched Stampers~ a society of stampers including my Sprinkled Ink team and other demonstrator friends) has the BEST crafters! Even new stampers expand their creativity and abilities by exchanging cards and seeing how to improve.

Each person designs one card and makes multiples of the same card to trade. These were the fabulous creations from our last swap:

(My swap was the 🍑 Peach card I shared in this post)

It’s a nice perk that demonstrators get to order before a catalog goes live, and our stamping friends truly enjoy exchanging ideas! There is always room for you: Would you like to join us?

Get Togethers & Card Starters

I’m blessed to have so many great friends on my Stampin’ Team and in August, some of us met up for lunch and stamping one Saturday:

Swapping ideas is a staple activity at any meeting, but we chose to exchange “Card Starters” this time: Some crafters call them card candy, but they are just small focal points you use on a greeting card and I’m sharing a few of them today.

Mary McGill used this Adirondack chair from the Seasonal Layers thinlit dies, which captures the last sunset of summer in perfect form. Used on three different cards, it’s fun to see how a card starter can inspire many different ideas!

Next is Chelle Scott’s gorgeous version of “Deck the Halls” from the Carols of Christmas stamp set: The layer of Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper catches your eye when you see it in person and no matter which way you look at it, it’s a fabulous focal point for a Christmas card.

Mine was a simple label from the Merry Little Label bundle in the new Holiday Catalog, punched and layered on a silver glimmer paper layer. I love how the new Everyday Label punch layers beautifully on the Lots of Labels Thinlits dies.

While my Stampin’ Team is named “Sprinkled Ink”, we have a larger group that meets together in person and online called “Stitched Stampers” which encompasses demonstrators in the Utah area and beyond: We include any demonstrators (and potential demonstrators) who would like to work on their business with like-minded, positive and uplifting folks and there is always room at our table for more stampin’ friends.  Join my team anytime!

Check back for more card starter samples soon…
