Phabulous Photos or Fabulous Fotos?
I’m always completely amazed at the talents and science of good picture: I’ve taken a digital photography class, but I still struggle to get a good portrait. However, Jocelin has the Midas Touch when it comes to capturing real beauty: She took these photos (and these) of my senior daughter and her friend and WOW!! Jocelin has an eye for a great shot!

Inviting friends over to get crafty is a fun way to get connected: My April parties include 3 make-n-take projects~ a Spring Greeting Card, a candy gift box using the new Matchbox Big Shot Die and a 2-page 6×6 scrapbook layout or two 6×3 cards for your guests to finish for only the cost of the supplies (or free with a $50 purchase).
GOOD NEWS: Through April 30, you can choose a FREE stamp when you purchase $40 from the Occasions Mini Catalog or when you host a Stampin’ Up! workshop ($150 minimum). Choose from any of these items:

Scrapbook Inspiration: Imitation is Flattery

If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, then I’ve mastered the art of praise! I keep pictures of projects I want to copy, and today I had the opportunity to make good use of the “Five” layout from Simple Scrapbooks. I changed the colors and created my own stained glass to mimic the church window where I took the picture.
My daughter is turning 18 on Friday and I’ve been working to catch up on her scrapbooks to give to her as her present. I was 6 years behind!! When I give it to her, it will come with a card that says, “You can scrapbook your own life from here on out…” Not that I don’t enjoy scrapbooking, but I have 3 more kids to catch up on, as well as my own books.
