Find a Friend at Fall StampFest

The only thing better than crafting and snacking is crafting and snacking WITH FRIENDS!

When you discover a community of folks who love the same things you do, it’s easy to make new friends. But what if you’ve never been crafty before? Never fear- helping and teaching each other is what paper crafters LOVE to do! So accept this invitation to discover (or improve) your artistic skills AND make (or bring) friends as you get your fingers inky at our Fall StampFest events.

First on the calendar is our Southern Utah event on September 23rd. The fun starts at 1 pm MT, and if you are bringing a friend or two, you have time to enjoy a lunch together and make it a day for the scrapbook! We’ll have plenty of projects for you to create, gifts & prizes to give away and a snack station to fuel your creativity. When you register by September 9th, you’ll save $10, so SAVE YOUR SPOT TODAY.

We do the SAME event just a few weeks later in Utah County on October 7th! We bring all the fun to both places and guarantee you’ll fall into bed after the festivities dreaming of stamping! The early registration deadline to save money is September 23rd – REGISTER FOR UTAH CO. STAMPFEST NOW!

Escape to enchanting Kanab, Utah for an OUT-OF-THE-BOX Craft Retreat on October 21-22, 2022!

You’ll want to come early (or stay late) to explore the “Magically Unspoiled” beauty, adventure and history of the Kane County area, then our WICKEDLY-FUN weekend begins Friday with the HOCUS POCUS Open Craft-along from 6-10 pm. Dress in your bewitching finery and work on the projects you bring, while we provide the music, laughter, games and PRIZES!

Saturday is our STAMP-TACULAR Craft-A-Thon from 10 am to 6 pm. Our local paper-crafting wizards (that’s us!) will lead you through 8 sensational seasonal projects! You bring scissors and adhesive, we’ll provide everything else (adhesive also available for purchase at the event).

Fall Stamp Fest: UTAH!

Twice a year my Stampin’ friends and I host a fabulous creative escape with friends, food and fun at our all-day StampFest and the Fall event features projects for Halloween, Autumn and Christmas, along with everyday occasions. We are hosting two in Utah this September~ one in St. George and one in Spanish Fork:

Birthdays, Blooms and a Class for You!

Whenever I get a moment to create just for fun, it’s a special day. Today I wanted to play, but had work to do first. Once work was done, I rewarded myself with stamping time following the #tgifc155 sketch:

As I’m getting geared up for the Perennial Birthday Box & Cards Class next week in Utah County (have you registered?) I wanted to showcase the versatility of this simply lovely stamp set, Perennial Birthday:

I also wanted to use a few retiring Stampin’ Up! colors, so pulled out my Wisteria Wonder, Wild Wasabi and Peekaboo Peach (with a little Soft Saffron that isn’t retiring) and did an emboss resist card for the challenge:

The Wisteria card is also embossed with the quilt top embossing folder…if you missed it at Christmas time, you’ll be happy to know you can order it again when the 2018-2019 catalog sales period starts on June 1st.

RSVP for the Perennial Birthday Box & Cards class by Monday, April 16th so I can get your supplies in time for the class. Meanwhile, create something pretty with rubber stamps, ink and paper and share it to make the world a lovelier place!

Need an Excuse to Run Away? Join a Club!

Stamp club members look forward to a night with adult conversation over crafts and often linger longer while family gets to bed or significant other is watching sports 🙂 Some clubs meet in the daytime while the kids are at school, so their family is none-the-wiser!

There is ALWAYS food, laughter, friendship and STAMPING.

If you need an excuse to exercise those flabby creative muscles, a stamp club will help you tone them up! Download a club form to answer questions you may have and get it to me ASAP to join as most clubs begin in JULY.

If you are in Utah, but not in Utah County, I can find a demonstrator close to you OR help you start a Stampin’ Up! business of your own!
