And a birthday card (just like a lady) needs a little bling, so of course I used the gold glimmer paper for the numbers!
Product List
DID YOU KNOW? I am live on FB each Monday at lunchtime (12:30 MST) sharing crafty stuff with you like this card? And you can also find me on Periscope a few times each week (working on making a set time there, too).
20 years ago my sweet friend Ann had been a customer for a while and finally had to ask me if she could be a demonstrator…and of COURSE I said YES! And what a journey we’ve been on together. It’s the greatest of blessings from sharing what you love when you find a like-hearted friend!
Inspired by the Mojo Monday challenge #438, I crafted this card to send her (to match the flowers she should be receiving today):
Weddings are quite personal with color themes running through the events from invitations to decorations (and even the food!) so as often as I can, I create a card to match the occasion. But sometimes they come in bunches and I just need a card NOW, so I came up with this classy black and gold version that seems to do the trick for any formal event.
You can change the words and/or colors to make it a sympathy, birthday or thank you card (all included in the Rose Wonder stamp set!). Download the tutorial and shop in my Stampin’ Store for supplies to create your own.
How do you feel about Christmas cards that aren’t the traditional Red & Green?
I tried a little “out of the holiday color box” card with the (sadly) soon-to-be-retiring Wonderland stamp set and I think it is quite elegant:
Glad I had a moment to stamp today because the challenges at TGIF and Friday Mashup were a perfect pairing:
Though I’m not blogging as much, I’m sharing DAILY on my Facebook page Creative Juice by Loni and often on Instagram! Support a small business by ordering your crafting supplies (including those used for this card) from my Stampin’ Store 🙂
At convention Stampin’ Up! announced that the 2017 Grand Vacation demonstrators can earn will be to Phuket, Thailand! Now I have a goal 🙂
Did you know that according to Thai tradition, each day of the week is assigned a color and the color for the day you were born is supposed to be your lucky color?! Find out your lucky Stampin’ Up! color by finding out which day of the week you were born on and then click here for your SU! Birthdate Hue.
In honor of the birthday I recently celebrated, I created this monochromatic card in MY color (Melon Mambo) and used this week’s Freshly Made Sketch:
I’m kind of in love with the new Mint Macaron In-Color for 2015-2016: It’s so elegant! Paired with the new Tip-Top Taupe (another new In-Color) it’s a perfect marriage of color (pun intended). The gorgeous Dotted Lace trim comes in all 5 of the new hues, too. I picked up the handled-bag at the dollar store, but everything else can be found in my online store.
And if you don’t have the Bow Builder Punch, order it immediately. Seriously.
Serendipity that this coincides with the #TGIFC08 challenge and co-ordinates with their colors, too:
Thanks for checking in and wishing you wonderful weddings!
…and these are the results:
Both turned out lovely and I’m prepared for 2 June weddings! #tgifc04 #fm210

Give me a good challenge…or three…and set me loose! Today I was anticipating the opportunity to join the inagural challenge over at TGIF Challenges with the uber-talented Mercedes and her “dream team” of creators and serendipity happened when the Friday Mashup gave me an excuse to use my Chalk Talk stamp set once more before it retired! Here are the challenges~ A color combo, sketch and retired set:
