Falling For You: Love and Valentines Day

Ready for Valentines Day? Here’s a little inspiration to get you going:

This worked so well with the TGIF Sketch Challenge this week:

Perhaps you don’t have one special person yet: Don’t fret! This could also be a wedding or anniversary card, just by switching out the greeting (also included in the stamp set) and it’s fun that there are matching sentiments for each greeting to put on the inside (or as a “tag line” under the flourishing font of the main greeting).

Birthday Card: Challenge Accepted

Couldn’t resist the TGIF challenge this week because I have a LOT of fabulous “It’s My Party” Designer Series Paper that needs to be used up and what better way than to color block?
Here is the card (demonstrated live on my FB page during Lunch with Loni today):

And a birthday card (just like a lady) needs a little bling, so of course I used the gold glimmer paper for the numbers!

DID YOU KNOW? I am live on FB each Monday at lunchtime (12:30 MST) sharing crafty stuff with you like this card? And you can also find me on Periscope a few times each week (working on making a set time there, too).

Mojo for a 20th Anniversary

20 years ago my sweet friend Ann had been a customer for a while and finally had to ask me if she could be a demonstrator…and of COURSE I said YES! And what a journey we’ve been on together. It’s the greatest of blessings from sharing what you love when you find a like-hearted friend!

Inspired by the Mojo Monday challenge #438, I crafted this card to send her (to match the flowers she should be receiving today):

The colors I used were Daffodil Delight, Eggplant Envy, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie and Cucumber Crush and can I tell you that EVERYONE needs the Number of Years bundle to celebrate moments that COUNT?!? So incredibly versatile!
Thanks for visiting: Create something beautiful today to share with someone you love!
P.S. Before you have to ask me (like Ann did), I’d be over the moon if you wanted to become a demonstrator on my team, too 🙂  Join before March 31, 2016 and choose $30 more in your starter kit for Sale-a-Bration (that’s $155 in products for only $99!)

Classy Black & Gold Wedding Wishes

Weddings are quite personal with color themes running through the events from invitations to decorations (and even the food!) so as often as I can, I create a card to match the occasion. But sometimes they come in bunches and I just need a card NOW, so I came up with this classy black and gold version that seems to do the trick for any formal event.

You can change the words and/or colors to make it a sympathy, birthday or thank you card (all included in the Rose Wonder stamp set!). Download the tutorial and shop in my Stampin’ Store for supplies to create your own.

Walking Through a {black & gold} Winter Wonderland

How do you feel about Christmas cards that aren’t the traditional Red & Green?

I tried a little “out of the holiday color box” card with the (sadly) soon-to-be-retiring Wonderland stamp set and I think it is quite elegant:

To create the stars on the background, I squoze 5-6 drops of multipurpose glue into an empty button or brad container and added a few drops of water, then mixed it with an Aqua Painter. Then I tapped the Aqua Painter on my hand over the top of the embossed card stock so it splattered all over it. Finally, I sprinkled gold glitter over the splatters and shook off the excess.
On this version I used gold baker’s twine in the button, but I can tell you the gold cord trim is MUCH easier to thread through the holes.
Thanks for ordering from my Stampin’ Store and don’t miss the Online Extravaganza going on right now through November 30, 2015: Click below to shop!

Birth-Date Color: A Thai-Tradition!

At convention Stampin’ Up! announced that the 2017 Grand Vacation demonstrators can earn will be to Phuket, Thailand! Now I have a goal 🙂

Did you know that according to Thai tradition, each day of the week is assigned a color and the color for the day you were born is supposed to be your lucky color?! Find out your lucky Stampin’ Up! color by finding out which day of the week you were born on and then click here for your SU! Birthdate Hue.

In honor of the birthday I recently celebrated, I created this monochromatic card in MY color (Melon Mambo) and used this week’s Freshly Made Sketch:

A Gift Bag for the New Mr. & Mrs.

Is your refrigerator covered with wedding invitations like mine?
You need to make a few of these to have on hand: Just drop in a gift and go!

I’m kind of in love with the new Mint Macaron In-Color for 2015-2016: It’s so elegant! Paired with the new Tip-Top Taupe (another new In-Color) it’s a perfect marriage of color (pun intended). The gorgeous Dotted Lace trim comes in all 5 of the new hues, too. I picked up the handled-bag at the dollar store, but everything else can be found in my online store.

And if you don’t have the Bow Builder Punch, order it immediately. Seriously.

Serendipity that this coincides with the #TGIFC08 challenge and co-ordinates with their colors, too:

Thanks for checking in and wishing you wonderful weddings!
