Here is a scrapbook layout using the “Good Morning Sunshine” Designer Series Paper (DSP):

We had been to the Aviary, so I *had* to use the chipboard owl, and I colored him with a Chocolate Chip Craft pad. Recipe: Good Morning Sunshine DSP, Kiwi Kiss, Chocolate Chip, Pacific Point and Summer Sun cardstock and ink, On Board So Tweet, Kiwi striped grosgrain ribbon, Perfect Day rub-ons, “Hooray” Designer Hardware, Big Shot & Billboard strip die.

Next is an idea I copied from Kristina Werner’s blog (sorry, I can’t find the exact date) but I love the simplicity and it’s a terrific idea to use up all those little scraps you’ve been hoarding:
Recipe: Sweet Always DSP, Chocolate Chip card stock, Chit-Chat rub-ons, scallop edge punch, white gel pen, Flower Assortment Designer Brads. Hint: cut/punch 1″ squares.

Matchbox Messages

The Blog Tour is over and it was such a success that we’ll be doing it again in the future! Thanks for stopping by.

I am leaving up two of my samples from the Matchbox Messages stamp set for your viewing pleasure 🙂 I used some of the In-Color palette (Tangerine Tango, Kiwi Kiss and Baja Breeze) for the first set, paired with Chocolate Chip and a pop of Whisper White. In-Colors ’09 are only available until June 30, when we get an updated palette for 2010, so get ’em while you can!

The Matchbox Messages set is designed to work with the Big Shot Matchbox Bigz XL die (finished box above), so I paired the next sample with another Big Shot Die, the Top Note, and a warm patchwork blanket made from Candy Lane Designer Series Paper to welcome a baby:

I love the Matchbox Die that co-ordinates with this set for the Matchbox, but the little frames on the above cards are also on the same Die…too cute!

Sale-a-Bration Inspiration

This stamp set is YUMMY…really…it is called “Yummy” and it’s one of the Sale-a-Bration sets you can get FREE during February and March with a $50 purchase. I made this Tri-fold card using the Top Note die, SU! texturz plates and the Big Shot! It is embellished with a few of the Flower Fusion blooms and a rhinestone brad. The Yummy Set is designed to co-ordinate with the Top Note, but is perfect for many occasions. You can’t see the texture on the Green, but these new Texturz plates are so much fun to play with! You could slip a gift card inside this cutie…and here is the inside of the card:

Stamp A Stack Class, Spanish Fork

Look closely…I’ve been wanting to make a clear card for a long time and I’m proud of this one: a Loni Original! Winter Stamp-Away Dixie!

Beat the winter blues and come to sunny Dixie for a Winter Stamp-Away on Saturday, January 24 at the St. George, Utah Courtyard Marriott. Join me at 10 a.m. for a Stamp-a-Stack card class where you will stamp 16 cards (4 each of 4 different designs) for $20. Here’s a sneak peek at one of the cards we’ll be making!

In the afternoon, create a “Love Stories” Flip Album (pictures coming soon) for someone special this Valentines day ($16) AND/OR complete a whole 6″x6″scrapbook in less than 2 hours–perfect for preserving the memories of Christmas, vacation, or other memorable events.
