We are closing in on the end of the Annual Catalog, and that means we must say good-bye to the 2020-2022 In-Colors. Two of those colors are featured in the #tgifc358 color challenge this week and that got me dreaming of this sunny card:
If you have Bumblebee, Magenta Madness (or Just Jade, Midnight Muse and Cinnamon Cider) ink pads in your stamping supplies, make sure you order the refills for your ink pads along with extra card stock NOW so you can continue crafting for a long time with these beloved colors! Once the Retiring List is announced ON MARCH 23, those are traditionally the first things to sell out. Product List
The TGIF Challenge last Friday got me brewing up an idea to share, and today I did a live video on my FB page to demonstrate this unique card fold using the Delightful Tag Topper punch to tie it closed!
As long as I was crafting, I wanted to use some new products from the January-June Mini Catalog and Sale-a-Bration that both start tomorrow (January 4, 2022), so here’s the first card I demonstrated using the Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper:
You can make this card with just a little space to write in under the top flap, or add a card that opens inside so you can compose a long love letter.
Then I flipped the card to a side closure and showed off the Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper that you can choose as a free Sale-a-Bration product with a $50 order. This cheerful paper coordinates with the Rainbow of Happiness stamp set in the J-J Mini Catalog, so of course you’ll want both!
This one is also a gift card holder, which would make anyone’s day more sunny:
I’ll post the supplies here tomorrow once the catalogs go live, but meanwhile, you can watch the video tutorial below or on my page:
The first idea that came to mind was a shaker card when I saw the #tgifc342 sketch, and the second idea was that it would be lovely in the #gdp317 color challenge:
I am participating in Stampin’ Up!’s virtual convention #onstageathome so as I was listening to a class, I had time to put my ideas to paper, so to speak!
I used Faux Snow from Dollar Tree inside my shaker and colored the white seam binding ribbon with my dark Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blend marker. Sometimes you have to pull pieces from multiple stamp sets to create what you imagined in your head, so the. sentiment is from the Banner Year stamp set (all supplies listed below) and stars came from the beloved Seasons of Fun set (remember to choose it as part of your host rewards when your order is over $150).
A heartfelt THANK YOU to all my stamping friends who have supported my business. I earned the following awards this year and it’s all courtesy of your friendship and loyalty. YOU are the best reward I could ever ask for!
It was hard to sleep last night, so I imagined crafting with the colors from the #tgifc341 challenge: Very Vanilla, Pool Party and Pale Papaya. To be honest, it didn’t help me sleep, but it did make me excited to create this card for my FB Live today!
Can’t get enough pumpkins for the fall, and the daisies were a whimsical touch paired with my polka-dot pumpkin, don’t you agree? The background was hand drawn with Pool Party Stampin’ Blends markers. Don’t be afraid to make your own plaid!
Mixing up all your stamps and supplies can expand your creativity!
One of the best ways to get most of the supplies for this card is to take advantage of a November-only special for the Starter Kit: Choose $125 in products for just $75!
Not only do you get a great savings on your supplies, you’ll get a discount on future purchases and a chance to see if being a demonstrator works for you!
I’m attending a virtual leadership event this weekend with Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world and as I listen, I’m also able to do a little stamping!
I’m combining the #tgif331 Inspiration Challenge with the #CCMC679 sketch for my card showcasing the Counting Sheep stamp set and Sheep Dies…both of which you could earn free during Sale-a-Bration!
You could get most of these products FREE by hosting an online party before September 30th (I don’t have any open in-person dates left, sorry) or placing a $150 order and choosing the stamps, dies and Designer Series Paper as a host! Book early, as the sheep dies are only available while supplies last!
Do you feel like you make the same style of card over and over again? The best way to STRETCH your creative muscles is with a SKETCH!
For my Lunchtime LIve Crafting on my Facebook page today, I started with the #TGIFC329 sketch challenge and the Feels Like Home Sale-a-Bration stamp set…I’m having a ball using these freebies in my Monday videos to help inspire YOU on ways to use the gifts/supplies you earn for each $50 spent through September 30th, and if you want to watch today’s video tutorial, click here!
This is the TGIF sketch challenge and here are my finished card(s):
When you buy the supplies to create this card, you could choose the stamp set FREE!
I thought it was fun to flip the embossed layer over so the mortar is squeezing out between the bricks. It feels very “Mediterranean Seaside” to me… like an armchair vacation to Greece.
My only dilemma is which card do I love more: The card version with the white or sand colored bricks? Product List
Pondering the current TGIF color challenge last night and this card interrupted my sleep…but I filed it to memory and made it this morning!
I was going to color the amazing sheep with markers, then I realized we have a horrible, awful oversight by Stampin’ Up! — NO COASTAL CABANA Stampin’ Blends? I considered making signs and picketing at the home office, but a protest of one may not get their attention.
So I stamped it on card stock and fussy cut around it.
Still looks awesome, so I’ll save my signs for later…
The Counting Sheep stamp set and Sheep Dies are both items you can choose FREE with a $50 order during Sale-a-Bration, but if you have to get one at a time, select the dies first, as they are only available while supplies last!
This is the time of year I make the most masculine cards. With Father’s Day coming up (and plenty of boy birthdays), I wanted to take the #TGIFC316 sketch and try it with the new Hats Off stamp set and dies.
The result was a card that reminds me of my both my father and father-in-love (a term borrowed from my friend Jan). What do you think?
Masculine cards don’t need a lot of embellishments, so once I figured out the width for the card stock strips, it didn’t take long to put together. They are all 4″ long and from the top, the widths are: 1/2″, 1-1/2″, 1″, 3/4″, 1/2″ and 3/4″. Choose any color combination you love, and I’ll put my supply list below if you want to copy it.
The stitching around the hat are from the dies and add just the right touch. TIP:Adhere your vellum to the card under the hat and you won’t see the adhesive showing through.
I think you’ll find plenty of occasions to use this very versatile hat, so order it in time to put it to use for Father’s Day!
