All-in-One Card: Birthday Delivery Style

There is always a birthday to celebrate, so let’s make a card and envelope: All-in-One! Here’s the quick version of my Facebook LIVE demonstration~ I prefer short videos, so hang on to your stamps and let’s craft:

Product List

We’ll be creating these fun cards at my Stamp-a-Stack Card Class this Saturday (along with 3 other card designs from the new catalog). If you are in the Utah County area, get your ticket ASAP, as space is limited.
It was fun to figure out how to use all the extraordinary Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper (included in the bundle or separately). Here’s one more finished sample:

50= 5 Perfect 10’s

Aunt MaryLynn always told me 50 was her perfect age: “You’re young enough to do whatever you want and old enough you don’t give a darn about what others think” (paraphrased).

So I’ve been looking forward to this birthday for a long time!, and yesterday did not disappoint!

It started with an early morning walk with my husband and our dog, Tiger. We tried out the new exercise machines along the Spanish Fork River Trail:

Then it was off to Cowboy donuts to cancel out the exercise! We ran into my friend Jerry and his son Aram there and they sang to me:

Next stop, Salt Lake Airport where Kamryn and I picked up Kiersta who flew in from Maryland and met her niece Haley for the first time.

Back home to go to lunch with Cody (a.k.a. Grandpa) where I forgot to take a picture, then we left the baby with Grandpa and picked up Whitney for a girls pampering day of pedicures, cupcakes and massages:

But the party wasn’t over yet, we met up with the rest of the family for dinner at Tucahno’s in Provo and games at Kayson’s house, which of course, I didn’t remember to take any pictures of!

And no birthday would be complete without hand-stamped cards…here are just a few from my wonderful friends, and I will share more on my Facebook page~ A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

NEW Catalog Kickoff & Giveaway!

catalog kickoff

Today is the first day of the NEW Stampin’ Up! Catalog year and it’s something to CELEBRATE! You can view the catalog ONLINE or you can get your own copy to take with you to the ball games, swimming pool and in the car during family vacation by attending my Open House this Saturday from 2-5 pm.

Another way to get a catalog is to host a party (in your home or on Facebook) or join my Creative Juice Stamp Club: You can join from anywhere in the U.S. and there are plenty of perks!

To celebrate the first day of the catalog, I’m giving away a stack of Color Theory Designer Series Paper and Glitter Enamel Dots to someone who comments with their FAVORITE NEW PRODUCT by Monday, June 5th!

Birth-day of a New Blog

My blog/website update has been incubating almost as long as a baby! It’s also been a labor of love: I wanted this website to help you make creative connections easier and while I may have a few more things to tweak, I’m finally ready to introduce it to the world.

Let me start by thanking my friend Randi Kaufman at RKCreative for helping “deliver” this baby: She designed my logo, started the website and walked with me through the concept and development. If you need help with anything from photography to graphic design or websites to social media, Randi is your gal! You can also find her on Facebook.

As part of the celebration, I’d love to showcase some of YOUR artwork in an upcoming post! If what I have shared (online or in person) has inspired you to be more creative, would you please email a photo with something you’ve created using Stampin’ Up! supplies to loni@sfcn.org? If you are in the photo, that would make me even more tickled!

I’ll share YOUR creativity next Wednesday, May 31st… Until then, here’s a peek at a new card kit coming in the NEW Annual Stampin’ Up! Catalog on June 1st. It’s sure to get your creative juices flowing!

Banners and Stamp Carving

Time to flex those stamping muscles! You can always click on the Events tab at the top of the blog to find a fun class or stamp camp coming your way, but here’s a little sneak peek at a few things coming soon:

BANNER DAY CLASS
Tuesday, October 15
10 a.m.
at Loni’s house in Spanish Fork, UT

A cheery welcome for holiday guests or a focal point for a mantel grouping, you can create one or both of these banners for $15 each (all supplies provided). Choose which banner you want to customize for your home (Halloween or Christmas…or both!) and let me know when registering.

If you can’t come to the class, you can order the Banner Simply Created Kit (#132699) and the Christmas Banner Accessory Kit (#132697) or Halloween Banner Accessory Kit (#132698) and there is enough of the canvas paper pennants to create a few of these at home. You may need ink pads and sponge daubers or Stampin’ Spritzers to create the backgrounds, but the Banner kit has the stencils for the chevron, stripes and polka dots as well as the WHOLE ALPHABET! It’s a great Girl’s Night Project, too, so gather your friends.

Stamp Carving Party!

Less messy than carving pumpkins…and you take home (up to) four custom stamps that are UNIQUELY YOURS! We can’t wait to see what you come up with 🙂 The cost of the class is just for the Undefined Kit (#133402) Your payment must be received by October 17th so we can order your kit in time for the party OR you can order the kit from my store and just let me know you are coming.
