One of the techniques I wanted to show you with the circle punch was Reverse Masking with a torn edge. This makes for beautiful mountain backgrounds, or in this case, a sunset walk with a friend.
The secret to this technique is MASKING PAPER which you can punch and lightly stick to your card stock so it won’t move. Then I tore the sticky edge of a Post-it note to make the ragged edges, as you can see in this quick video tutorial:
Remember to carefully peel off your Masking Paper once you’ve finished blending the ink. Did you see a few more tricks-of-the trade, like making the banner longer by cutting it in half? And of course, add this technique to your circle punch repertoire as a card maker.
One thing to note: Golden Glow Stampin’ Blends are the *PERFECT* colors for Winnie the Pooh, and this iconic friendship duo will warm your heart and your craft room.
Remember: When you invest in the Stampinโ Up!ยฎ๏ธ Starter Kit this month, you could choose the 2026-2028 In Color Ink Pads as a BONUS!
Day number 6 for our Reasons & Seasons #celebrationcombination week using the Stampinโ Up!ยฎ๏ธ Reason to Celebrate and Seasonal Celebrations stamp sets, which were designed to stamp bold images with sensational sentiments together.
Reason To CelebrateSeasonal Celebrations
Some of these occasions which occur at the beginning of the year aren’t given the attention they deserve. For instance, have you ever thought of sending NEW YEAR cards instead of Christmas cards? While I haven’t shared a New Year card with this set here on my blog, my VIP Facebook Group did get to see the card I created for the turning of the year! When you make an order from my Stampin’ Store, you’ll be invited to join the VIP group, which gets EXTRA inspiration shared with them.
Let’s move on to the combination card, which could be for a birthday, and anniversary or any yearly celebration:
Yellow and Purple are complementary colors, so when I was considering what colors to pair with this daffodil, Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape popped into mind!
Remember the die we used on the missing middle Special Day card earlier this week? It also makes a lovely scalloped edge for a focal point! I also grabbed the background die from the same Lovely Arrangement die set to create a peek-through background from the Garden Green layer.
TIP: The perfect size for the Gorgeous Grape rectangle inside the scallops is 3-1/8″ x 1-15/16″ and yes, that is an unusual measurement, but it perfectly layers over the circles! The Basic White layer is 3″ x 1-13/16″ (or one tick over 1-3/4″)
Adding a circle for the sentiment embossed in white mirrors the scallops and pulls the purple in one more time.
I’ve loved these bold stamps for striking images paired with celebratory sentiments, haven’t you? Because they are flat, there is no coloring required, though I’ve done a bit of fussy cutting, as there are no dies to coordinate with the images…but they are super easy to cut out!
Your comments fuel my creativity, so please pause and say hello!
For the second day of pairing the Stampinโ Up!ยฎ๏ธ Reason to Celebrate and Seasonal Celebrations stamp sets, here’s a “missing middle” card fitting for a wedding, graduation, anniversary, promotion, or any special event you want to commemorate!
My friend Yvonne discovered that the daisy chain (and the line of hearts!) from the Seasonal Celebrations stamp set fit nicely in the oh-so-essential dot die from the Lovely Arrangement dies, so I paired it with the upcoming Lazy Daisy 3D embossing folder (available March 3rd).
The Peach Pie card base is 5.5″ x 5.5″ and scored at 4.25″, with another 5.5″ x 1.25″ strip for the bottom edge. You can secure a 3.25″ window sheet between the Peach Pie strips and the Calypso Coral embossed pieces to make the bottom section “float” or just use a second piece of the dots to create a sturdy connection between both sections.
One the inside, a sentiment of Congratulations waits hidden behind the floating piece:
We are coming to the end of the 2024-2026 In Color season, and Peach Pie is one of the soon-to-be-leaving colors. Make sure you have the card stock, ink refill and coordinating supplies you need before they sell out – CLICK IMAGE TO SHOP ALL RETIRING IN COLORS!
Last month I shared the Anniversary swap card I created using the Reason to Celebrate and Seasonal Celebrations stamp sets (which were designed to coordinate!) and this week, you’ll see the two sets combined to create something for every season included, starting with a simple fun-fold birthday card.
The colors on this birthday celebration are Daffodil Delight, Shy Shamrock and Berry Burst, which is a combination that could be used for everyone. By stamping the party hats and confetti randomly on the front and inside layers, you’ve created your own party for the mailbox. The Lasting Linen background stamp also gives a bit of texture to the background of the Daffodil card base.
The key to this card is to shave off 1/16″ of an inch on the right-side of the card front, so the 7.5″ x 4.75″ Shy Shamrock card can fold over the front without buckling the card.
Small details like a few shiny embellishments top it off:
Make your own with these supplies from my Stampin’ Store:
From building to baking, from sewing to paper crafting, the correct tool makes any project easier, and the new Stampinโ Up!ยฎ Stampinโ Positioner does exactly that. Once you use it, you wonder how you ever crafted without it! Today I shared three simple ways to put it to work, and each one shines in the trio of projects you see here, with a video tutorial included.
3 Clever Ways to Use the NEW Stampinโ Up!ยฎ Stampinโ Positioner
1. Perfect Placement: Line up your stamps to be exactly where you want them to be, and if you need to re-stamp, or have two-step stamps (like the jar of hearts), this tool is your best friend.
2. Can You Repeat That, Please? When you want sentiments or images to be duplicated, use the smaller plate and move it down the pegs to stamp it again! For the masculine birthday card, โHappy Birthdayโ was easy to impress multiple times in a clean, evenly spaced design. Because the stamp stays in place, you can re-ink the saying and re-stamp with confidence.
3. You’ve Been Framed The daisy chain “frame” around this anniversary card is a single line of flower images, but this tool made it easy to stamp around the block! Flirty Flamingo card stock: 4.5″ square (finished card is 5.25″ square, because I had envelopes that size).
Ready to get your hands on this cool tool?
Current demonstrators had the opportunity to pre-order it, but starting tomorrow – February 3 through March 2, 2026 –

Annabelle Broom is a non-conformist witch who would rather help than hinder, and is the protagonist of a children’s musical play = one source of inspiration for this cute Halloween card! The other prompt for my color choices was the #tgifc541 color challenge of Strawberry Slush, Timid Tiger and Secret Sea:
Secret Sea is a deep, dark navy blue, which is really lovely in real life, and a perfect substitute for black in Halloween cards. Using Basic Beige as my neutral background gave my card a bewitching-hour feel.
As Annabelle would rather wear PINK than black, this fantastic feline witch asserts her fashion sense with a pink (Strawberry Slush) tutu and is ready to fly to help lost children on her trusty broom!

“Summertime! And the Stampin’ is Easy!” (if you sang that in your mind~ Greetings, fellow musical geek!)
Since Stampin’ Up!ยฎ๏ธ Suites (and suite products) are BOGO50 during June, I’ll be sharing some SIMPLE ways to use our current Suites for sensational summer stamping projects. In today’s video, I’m also revealing a BEAUTY SECRET!
Crafting in June, July & August has to be easy & breezy, so coordinated products in a suite bring a speedy card together in moments. Using the Impressions Abloom stamp set, you can keep this Thanks card ultra simple, or add layers and leaves:
The only thing to stamp on the second card is the sentiment! If you die cut a few extra pieces while catching up on your favorite television episode, you’ll have all the pieces prepared to put an “I appreciate you” card together in seconds:
Embossing a piece of Stampin’ Up!ยฎ๏ธ Two-Tone card stock with the Pressed Flowers embossing folder and rubbing it with an emery board to reveal the white center makes this background terrific and touchable.
Some of the Impressions Abloom Dies have detailed inserts, so you can die cut them from cardstock, or remove the details to cut out the stamped image.
TIP:Washi tape keeps both the outline and the details together while you run them through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine.
All these products are part of the Floral Impressions Suite, and can be purchased as a complete collection or individually:
REMEMBER: For the Buy-One-Get-One-50% off special, the LOWEST priced items will receive the discount, so shop smart! Make separate orders and purchase 2 suites together in the first order (to get one suite half price), then use the *Stampin’ Rewards you earned on your first order for an additional discount on your second order, where you may order individual items from other suites (like more Designer Series Paper or embellishments).
*Stampin’ Rewards: Make sure you’ve OPTED IN to earn 10% back each time you shop! Save them or spend your rewards next time!

Last summer I taught you the Joseph’s Coat technique with Embossing Folders, so now it’s time to try this cool rubber stamping technique with Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper, plus I’ve included a bonus version using Stampin’ Write Markers!
The technique begins by clear embossing a bold image over a pattern, then adding black (or dark ink) over the embossed paper, while the ink “resists” sticking to the clear embossing powder:
I used the graphic designs from the Toadstool Gardens DSP (from Sale-a-Bration 2025), and used the largest Perennial Postage die to cut a unique shape from the pattern, leaving just enough of the paper to add to the flap of my envelope.
The Thanking You stamp is large and bold enough to allow the pattern to be seen well through the embossing once the black ink is smeared all over the Designer Series Paper. You’ll want to use a tissue to wipe off any residue from clear embossed words, and the colorful pattern emerges just like the magic of the famous coat of Joseph in Egypt!
As a BONUS, I showed that you could create a pattern with Stampin’ Write markers to make a custom design, like Red, White and Blue for Independence Day:
Why not try the starter kit and choose Option 1? You’ll get $216 worth of crafting supplies for just $99!
To learn exactly how to do the Joseph’s Coat Technique (and more about Stampin’ Write markers or the opportunity to join), watch this video:
Just 10 days left to collect the Toadstool Garden Designer Series Paper (or another SAB product of your choice) for FREE during Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-Bration 2025! For each $60 you spend, you can choose a free product and many new items were added at the beginning of February.
Thank you for choosing me to serve your creative needs! These are the supplies for the first card, which I demonstrated in the video tutorial:
Bright colored flowers shout “I LOVE YOU” as well as “THANK YOU” and “YOU’RE THE BEST!” Zinnias lead the garden in bold flower-power during the summer, so a color-blocked card that stands to display seemed like the one to craft today:
The Simply Zinnia stamp & die bundle is an Online Exclusive that you can NOT miss! For my demonstration, I used Versamark ink to stamp the zinnia image on both the Berry Burst and Coastal Cabana card stock pieces that fit on the card base.
However, the Zinnia bundle IS part of a larger Flowering Zinnia SUITE of products, which includes the Zinnia 3-D Embossing folder…so I also did a version of this card using it to make a “touchable” raised background.
This is how they stand:
There is a HELPFUL TIP for layering the petal dies in today’s video tutorial, which will save you time in assembly. Remember, you can click on the gear in the bottom right of the video and change the speed to make any tutorial play faster, if you are an impatient crafter like me!
