Above the Clouds (+ 3 for Free)

Still on my bucket list: Ride in a Hot Air Balloon.

At least I can stamp some balloons with the Above the Clouds bundle from Stampin’ Up! until I can check the adventure off:

On Monday I demonstrated this card during my Lunchtime Live broadcast from my Creative Juice Facebook Page:

I announced that during August 2019, anyone who ordered the Above the Clouds bundle from my Stampin’ Store will get 3 exclusive card tutorials via email PLUS I will mail them the paper goods to create those 3 cards at the end of the month!

Here’s a peek at the cards…and one of them is a fabulous fun fold:

Above the Clouds 3 for Free

While you can use any colors of ink you’d like, here are the ones I used in the tutorial (you can add them to your order if you don’t have them): Pacific Point, Melon Mambo,  Daffodil Delight, Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green and Seaside Spray. You will also need an Aquapainter OR Blender Pen and a Stampin’ Sponge.

Don’t miss the opportunity to get your 3 Above the Clouds card supplies and tutorial FREE: Order the bundle by August 31st from my Stampin’ Store!

Live with Zest!

I’m a sucker when it comes to a stamp set and coordinating punch…but then Stampin’ Up! made the Lemon Zest stamp set with citrus fruit and this was a NO BRAINER for my Creative Juice!

Made this card LIVE on my Facebook Page yesterday morning: Did you know I have Live Lunchtime Crafting each Monday at 12:30 MST? Tune in as you eat your midday meal to get some extra Vitamin (C)reativity:

Watermarked(2017-06-19-1420)-2

The fruit on this card is stamped on glossy paper (welcome back!) and uses Lemon Lime Twist (one of the 2017-2019 In-Colors), along with Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie:Watermarked(2017-06-19-1425)-2

The Lemon Zest stamp set comes in wood mount or clear mount and when you bundle it with the Lemon Builder punch, you save 10%:145360g

Finally, this little cutie (see what I did there?) was made even sweeter by adding a few Lemon Lime Twist tiles cut from the Stitched Shaped Framelits behind the orange slices, which are perfectly punched out using the 1-3/4″ circle punch! Of course, on the inside of this card is the “Live with Zest” sentiment:Watermarked(2017-06-19-1425)

Hope you’ve enjoyed this slice of citrus fruit crafting and thanks for shopping for your own “creative juice” in my Stampin’ Store!

Candy Corn & Paper Piecing Mashup

A sure sign of fall isn’t the falling leaves or cooler temperatures…it’s the CANDY! Remember when you could ONLY get candy corn in Autumn and Peeps at Easter? That was before they started making pastel corn for Easter and Peeps ghosts for Halloween…ah, the good old days…

I’ve been thinking about tags lately, so this popped into my head when I saw the Friday Mashup challenge (mashing up a fall food theme and paper piercing, FM128) and the Freshly Made Sketch (FMS104) this week:

The paper piercing was inspired by Patty B (but on a smaller version of hers). Here’s how I made the candy corn:

So there’s a sweet treat double whammy (or is it a triple?) for you today!

Scrapbook Love

I had the opportunity to create a page for my daughter’s church group and it was delightful to pause and reflect for a moment on how much joy she brings to our lives! She really is as beautiful as she looks, inside and outside.

Scrapbooking truly builds the self-esteem of children! I’ve watched my kids share their scrapbooks with friends so many times and they are so proud of every picture. They smile and laugh as they flip through each page. Sometimes they “remember” things they were too young to really recall, simply because it has been documented in their memory album. It makes the effort all worthwhile.

It is a work of love for me, too.
