There’s electricity in the air when new Stampin’ products arrive, and apparently I wasn’t the only one dreaming of the September-December mini catalog last night…

I woke up at midnight to place an order for StampFest, and some of you were awake at that early hour to get first dibs on all the festive things, too!

Showing up now to give you the “What You Need To Know” about everything that launched today, September 6th:

SECOND: There are some ADDITIONAL Designer Series Papers that have been added to the Online Exclusives section that you won’t want to miss! A few of these papers coordinate with some of the products in the Sept-Dec Mini, and others are just versatile must-haves.

Speaking of patterned paper, one design released today is part of our Making A Difference program:

FINALLY (for today, anyway): October 7th is World Card Making Day, and Stampin’ Up! is throwing a FREE VIRTUAL PARTY! You may already be registered (or plan to register) for our Utah County Fall StampFest on that day, but the good news is: YOU CAN DO BOTH! When you register for the event above, it will be recorded, so you can watch it later and craft along. Its great to see you again! Thanks for joining our August-December Mini Catalog Blog Hop ~ you will be wowed and inspired by the talent from demonstrators around the globe. Our job will be done if you are ready to pick up your stamps and create something yourself after hopping through!

Retiring List: What You Need to Know

As Stampin’ Up! transitions to a new catalog (coming in June) they have released a list of products that are retiring. Here are a few things to know about the Retirement List:

In Colors: All 2018-2020 In Color inks, paper, and embellishments are retiring. These items usually sell out quickly so don’t forget to add ink refills and extra card stock for your craft stash.

2018-2020 IN COLORS (retiring)

Stamps vs. Accessories: Retiring stamps are available through June 2nd. All other retiring items, such as paper, embellishments, and dies are only available while supplies last, so don’t want too long before ordering or you may miss out!

VIEW ALL LAST-CHANCE PRODUCTS

FAQ:

* Stampin’ Blends WILL be in the new catalog as a combo pack (a light AND dark shade of the same color) but will not be available to order individually.

* A NEW and IMPROVED adhesive option will be introduced in the new catalog, but if you need SNAIL refills before then, order early as they may go quickly.

* Yes, there will be a NEW die-cutting tool coming, and while you will see it in the new catalog, it may not be available to order immediately after the catalog goes live. But you’ll love it when you get it!

NEW Paper Trimmer!

One of the essential tools a paper crafter must have is a paper trimmer. Tomorrow (November 1st), the NEW Paper Trimmer by Stampin’ Up! will be available!

As a demo, I was able to get mine early, and was excited to play with it. You are going to be very pleased with the quality, attention to detail, and improvements to the new trimmer.

In my opinion, there are good improvements to the overall design, but the biggest improvements are in the design and function of the cutting and scoring blades. The new blades are easier to hold, glide smoothly, cut cleanly, and don’t pull to one side.

TIP: When cutting, don’t press down too hard or you may create a bend at the edge of the paper. The blades are sharp and only need light pressure to cut really well!

PAPER TRIMMER TOP 5

ONE: The body of the trimmer has a squared shape that’s easy to store on its side, light weight, includes a look for hanging, and the extension arm is extra-long to fit larger paper.

TWO: The clear cutting guide is wide and solid so it won’t warp when cutting and it clips closed automatically without having to close with a latch.

THREE: Cutting and scoring blades are larger making them easier to grip and the shape is centered so cutting isn’t skewed to one side.

FOUR: Cutting and scoring blades are easy to remove and can be flipped and used either direction, so if you tend to cut only up or down you can flip and re-use.

FIVE: Cutting blade is super-sharp and longer so it can easily cut 2 – 3 sheets of cardstock!

Crazy for Daisies: Get 3 Free Cards!

Daisies are found on every continent except Antarctica?
Daisy leaves are edible (they are high in vitamin C and can be added to a salad)?
