It’s really an oxymoron, isn’t it? Spooky Sweets? How can something be scary AND yummy? I guess it’s the paradox of the whole Halloween season!
The Baker’s Boxes in the Holiday Catalog got me thinking: What could I fill them with? It’s so much fun to give something a bit bigger than a card!
The boxes are nice and large (4-1/4″ square and 2-1/8″ tall) and they are coated on the inside so your goodies don’t leak through. You can wrap the boxes with Designer Series Paper, spray them with a few drops of ink refills mixed with rubbing alcohol in the Stampin’ Spritzer or color them with ink using a sponge brayer, as I did with this one:
We actually made these boxes at our Fall StampFest events last month as one of the eight projects prepared for our guests…if you missed it, make sure you plan ahead to come to our Spring StampFest in either St. George (February 23, 2019) or Spanish Fork Utah (March 9, 2019).
You can make your own at home with these supplies:
Back to the question of “what can we fill the box with?”, I found a few fabulous treats that would be perfect to bake and fill for a gift:
I had to share all three because I couldn’t make up my mind!
Give a sweet treat for every season in our Baker’s Boxes: Here’s a Christmas version of the box using the Santa’s Workshop product suite!
